left Guangzhou for Singapore yesterday. on my way to the airport while i was in GZ, i had to scold this chinese woman on the train. i placed my suitcase in front of my knees, and she was standing next to it. and without a word of excuse me nor an effort to ask for permission, she plopped her handbag and a plastic bag upon my brand new gleaming shiny beautiful suitcase. i haven't been in a good mood these past few days, and she chose that day to be rude. i glared at her from my seat for a long period of time, but she didn't dare meet my eyes. instead she looked at the metro tv above me. just then, my classmate called, broke my glare at that woman, and i snapped. i picked up the call but told her to hold on. then i said to that chinese woman, hey, u're very polite aren't u? can't u take ur things on ur own and not place them on top of my suitcase? u sure are polite aren't u? she looked back at me, her face scrunched between embarassment and irritation. i looked at her expressionless and determined. she removed her stuffs. and i went back to my classmate's call, sorry, i was talking to an extremely polite person. all these freaking people, they think that the world is theirs and they can do anything they want, but other people wun get annoyed? or are not daring enough to speak up? well too bad, if they want to do so, it better not be when i'm in my worst of moods. no i ain't pms-ing. people have been getting on my nerves for the past week, and i certainly dun need any more irritants.
other than that, though, i reached the airport on time, got my things checked in without any trouble, and had a pretty smooth flight. the flight was pretty comfortable coz there weren't many people on the flight. a boy was sitting next to me, and thank goodness he's a good quiet little boy, absorbed in his pastel green nintendo DS, with a pikachu plushie on the seat between me and him. lol. i spent the time listening to music on my phone, read a little of the novel i just bought, and then drifted in and out of sleep. the sky was cloudy, and the plane flew above the clouds. and it was quite a good view out of the window =D the landing wasn't really smooth though. haha. coz the plane was tilting a little to the left as it touched down. haha.
i ate oreo mcflurry when i reached the airport yesterday, to satisfy my cravings. and today, i walked to bukit timah market for lunch. on the way back home after lunch, the school bus of my primary school which i used to take years ago passed by, so i took a photo secretly. the guy in the picture is a passer-by passing by LOL. i took out my camera and while i was about to take a picture he stepped into the frame. lol. so there, Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary School. the bus donning the same paint as it have always had.
and this is my first singapore lunch! hahahahhaa. the trademark sugar cane juice, carrot cake, and popiah. after that, i even bought 2 soon kueh and 1 kueh lapis. totally gorged myself. am FULL right now. i realise that i do miss singapore although i've always refused to admit it. lol. plus, last night when i went to bed, omg, the bed was SO soft i almost forgot how it feels like. it was as if plopped onto a cloud. heaven. my oh my. at this point in time in my life, singapore is becoming my home, simply becoz right now it's my hideout, away from all the worries and frustrations in my life. indo has changed. sighs.
next time i'll be on to tissue prata and masala thosai. hahahahahaha.
can finally blog with photos. i'm loving my holiday already.
