i have been a good girl today, i didn't say a single bad word in any language today. hehehehehe.
anyways, i bumped into a real scary situation today. my indon friend and i were going up the stairs heading back to her room in school hostel, when we spotted the afro guy classmate standing at his room's doorway. this afro guy he is real big-sized, a real giant, black, 190+ in height, gargantuan built, bulging stomach. it doesn't help that he has a reputation for being violent and aggressive. last year he beat up a guy in the campus where he was taking his chinese language course. this year he almost beat up the crazy arab in my class. and my nepal guy friend had a fight with this afro guy earlier in the semester. unpleasant. my class is deathly afraid of this guy and would always stay clear of him. i AM deathly afraid of him. too scared to even greet him.
and today, while indon girl and i were heading back to her room, he called out to her, and told her to wait up. both of us pretended not to hear and just walked on. he caught up with us. just then, Nepal guy was going back to his room and was about to enter, but he saw afro guy coming up to us and he turned back to the corridor, walked behind the afro guy. afro guy had already caught up with the both of us, and we were frozen on the spot. afro guy looked behind him and saw our nepal friend coming. he wasn't very pleased. he asked for my indon friend's phone, saying that he had to send a sms to his 'brother' and his phone has no credit left. my indon friend was reluctant, she was like asking me urm, how? my face was all screwed up i had no idea what to do, i didn't want her to lend him her phone coz he's not exactly known for giving back what he has borrowed. but it would be impolite to decline, and dangerous too. while afro guy was talking to indon girl, nepal guy pretended to not want to interfere and stepped into the arabs' room, which door was left open and was only one step away from where we were standing. at that time i was pleading so so so so so so so so so so terribly hard inside for nepal guy to please please please come out and rescue the both of us. indon girl handed her phone to afro guy. afro guy had the phone in his hand and asked her how to use it. nepal guy emerged from the arab's room (finally!), and omg the atmosphere was SO tense! nepal guy was like hey, use mine instead, give her phone back. afro guy gave indon girl her phone back. nepal guy handed afro guy his phone and told the 2 of us, he can use my phone u girls can go back. my indon friend said thanks and we walked back, with the hugest hugest relief! that afro guy initially wanted to talk to indon girl about something, but he changed course when he saw that nepal guy was around, shifting the subject to a funny request about that phone. argh omg! that was the longest 2 minutes my whole life.
i don't know what afro guy wants from my indon friend, but the last thing we want is to have anything to do with this guy. he's a real big threat. and right now, i'm just TREMENDOUSLY INFINITELY grateful to my nepal friend for having saved us from that situation. i really owe him a big one. i haven't had an opportunity to thank him properly today coz i went home halfway during the day. and i dun have his number to send him a thank you sms. right now i'm just so so so so so so so so so grateful for my nepal friend. >.< we were in a big group while walking up, the 2 other guys who were with us already went back to their rooms. and korean girl omg, she knew afro guy was after us but she left us there, went back quickly to her room, and when she did emerge she didn't come up to us but went to jap guy's room instead. and she didn't even bring jap guy out to come rescue us. it's impossible that she did not know that we were in a perilous situation. ha. what can i expect from korean houseflies?
laughs. i found a trustworthy friend today. omg as i look back right now i'm just speechlessly grateful for nepal guy. speechlessly grateful.
