i'm here catching up on fall/winter '09. i really really love anna sui and miss sixty. their clothes are daring, fierce, yet feminine =D haha. if only i had unlimited internet access, i'll post tonnes of pics here. updates: i did another ballet photoshoot for nighttime scene. didn't turn out good coz the lighting was so bad and hard to control. i wonder how many pics actually turned out good. it was super super tiring coz once again i had to wear pointe, and although i only had to pose coz of slow shutter speed, it was tiring and a little frustrating. partly coz the photographers can't get good pics since the lighting was bad. the flash ran out of battery halfway and we had to pack. we even had to use car headlights, and had to change shoot location. just plain exhausting, hoping that at least one photo turns out good so that efforts made wun be in vain. i really would like to do a goth ballet photoshoot (at the suggestion of one of the photographers). something fierce and different from the soft, pinky, conventional ballet. i want something different, daring, artistic, yet feminine =D haha. and i would so love to do a photoshoot just in normal practice attire (w/o pointe shoes) so that i can do whatever i like and not care about technique and stuffs. perhaps i'll be part of more photoshoots the next time i go back to indo. FYI: i'm not staying in singapore for long.
more updates... i've finally, painstakingly finished my batik clothes! MUAHAHAHAHA. it's a short-sleeved top with a pleated skirt. simple design to flaunt the pretty fabric. shall wear it proudly for tmr night's b'day celebrations with my cousin and her frens (who have become my frens) oh, and i saw a real red indian in a mall last night while i was hanging out with my cousin and fren. super cool! his facial features are exactly like the red indians i've seen in pictures. he's here to promote an album, but i didn't stay for his gig.
i'm just so much more happy and relaxed here that i've become less prickly and self-absorbed =D haha. i like myself better here =) btw, i may not be back on 25 feb due to unexpected schedule changes, thanks to my mum....

4) bright blue cuff (frm bali)
5) corset halter (frm body&soul, sby)
i'm so in love with body&soul clothing. each time i step into the shop there'll be at least one piece that i really love. and although it's expensive, it's not especially sky-high, so the sale is earthly. just yesterday, my cousin tried on a red polka-dot halter dress and it was just gaspingly gorgeous. only we're waiting for half-price sale before getting it ;) their sale is so worth the buy. clothes can easily cost less than 20 sing bucks and they are well-made and well-maintained. can't wait for the next body&soul sale =D i regret not going for their warehouse clearance sale while i was in bali, it would be so satisfying!
