What are friends for? Seriously. Friends make but transient presence in your life. True that physical presence may be transient, but impact may not be. Friends. sigh. Close? I dunno. Remember that during primary school girls used to rank their friends 1st best, 2nd best, whatever? I dun think I ever did that. Who are friends? People who know a lot about you, but after years of 'friendship' they still dare not be honest about how they feel about you, choosing instead to convey their opinions of you to their other 'friends' and not to you. In the end you have to find out how they feel from other people. Get this right, I HATE THIS. Might as well have no friends at all if these are the kind of friends that you get. Is hiding true opinions part of dishonesty? I dunno. But I think if friends are to be lasting, close friends, shouldn't they be honest to each other? And stop going the roundabout way? Sick sick sick. I'd rather be hurt in the front than through the sides, or worse the back, where you can't see them for their true self. Sucks. The feeling sucks.Friends are people who have the ability to hurt you more than strangers can, coz you've given them part of your heart to play with, and they can easily take a knife or two guns to hurt it, suddenly, swiftly. The futility of it all. Dammit.
