It's such a joy to have flowers blooming outside my house! The flowers that smell like jasmines have bloomed! They give off such a wonderful scent that I just feel much happier smelling the flowers. It's such a wonder that such a small flower can give such a heavenly scent. I like jasmines more than any other flower. White, delicate, but so powerful. Doesn't have the daintiness of a daisy nor the sophistication of a rose. Plain simplicity, but with a character. Guess that's how I want to be like!

Went for ballet after 2 weeks of skipping lessons. Grade 8 is SO challenging. Grade 7 results released and was quite disappointing. But I'm undaunted. Somehow results for dance mean nothing to me anymore. How do you grade a dance, really? You know if it's good, bad, or normal. But to put an accurate grade to it is like trying to point ur finger at the little toe of a jumping dancer. I just really really really want to perform a modern piece. I think I should choreograph a dance for myself after prelims. Book the badminton hall, bring the laptop and get the music started! =) I already have the movements and the music in my head, and it really really sucks when my body is constrained by exams. I feel as if I'm being imprisoned. Right, Kwok? :P I think the problem with me and ballet is that I'm not a precise person. I don't like to be constrained within fixed positions, I like to let go and be free! Which is why sis says I look super stiff during ballet class. Haha. But it's not enough to just do what I want and what I like, because in life we need self control to get that extra level higher. Doing the opposite of my habits will help discipline myself better, and that is what ballet is about as well. Discipline. I just need to regain my torso muscles and stop being a jellyfish, and I should be quite fine. Patrick's bulging tummy has to be as flat as spongebob's. To think of it, I think spongebob will make such a good ballerina. He's so flat and so square he will be so properly aligned. Plus he's so flexible he can raise his leg higher than Sylvie Guillem can. Haha. Well, I can't wait to watch Russian Ballet Stars! Ah, finally one of my long-time wishes have come true.
