your light will shine when all else fades

Hope: it is only when we are able to love things and people around us, that we can be inspired, and be given hope. It is only when we respect the existence of the things and people around us, can we feel hope.
I'm exhausted, really. I'm tired of searching for hope. It's time to change the mentality that hope is going to fall from heaven and be bestowed upon me somehow. It's time to learn from all my experiences, and move on, to see the world in a grain of sand, and eternity in an hour. I will no longer cry, nor have stomachache, headache, nor vomit, nor be diagnosed with pregnancy when I'm only suffering from stress, and hurt. I've had enough of people, and the world, but I will no longer be cynical. It is time to stop sourcing for hope, it is time to BE the source of hope.
It no longer matters to me what others have done to me, it no longer matters whether or not people care about me. It no longer matters whether or not there are people who give hope in this world. I have decided that I will build immunity (not defences) against immorality, injustice, disrespectfulness and lack of love. I have decided that no matter what people do to me, I will reciprocate with righteousness. From now on, it will be beneath me to fight back like dogs in a pitbull fight. I will soar through the sky, light and clear, and be the hope for myself, and perhaps for others. I think it's difficult to be the sun. The Sun burns with passion to care and provide for other planets and people, holding the solar system together, but the Sun cannot see any other thing or being who is like itself, who burns with equal passion and graciousness. Then one day, the Sun realises that it cannot see others that are the same, because others are not as strong as the Sun is. So the Sun stops looking at other beings, and looks at itself, and realises that it is THE Sun, the only one who burns with love.
Or we could learn from Batman. Tycoon by day, vigilante by night. Not a hero, but a silent guardian, a Dark Knight. Batman doesn't care what other people say about him, whether he's a criminal or he's a hero, because he is both. He is both, not only because he is forced by the bad guys (like the really cool Joker), but above all, he understands the bigger picture to fulfill justice and righteousness. In Gotham, where slumps and criminals are rampant, and it seems that there is no one to trust, he is the only one to be trusted. Besides, he already trusts himself. So there, let me be the source of hope. My cynicism, let thou be gone with the wind.
