PW results released today. My whole group got A! Really proud and happy for all of us. We worked tremendously hard and I think it was a deserving grade. Before receiving the result, I was just really really happy as I recall the times that we shared doing PW. Like just bringing our laptops and typing out the report at my house. Playing random games like Solitaire and Pinball just for fun, and stuffs like that =) although PW can be super irritating and exhausting at times, I guess I enjoyed the process because I have such wonderful group members! Thanks you guys =)
Today is rather eventful, also because I went for NRP award ceremony. The award doesn't really matter to me, but then again I also look back at my research experience. Fulfilling, fun and enriching. Opened up my eyes to a world that I've never dared to look at. I don't have to be cut out at what I do, but as long as I love what I do, it's fulfilling for me. Met people whom I admire, whom I have so much to learn from. Wanning was patient with my blurness and my mistakes, especially when I spilt Heptanol and the whole lab was so stinky. Steve's a great research partner too! Always helping me out and stuffs =) Haha. Realised that my research project is being continued by another person in this year, as a H3 project too. Amazing how science progresses. Doing research is like watching a baby grow, step by step, falling and recovering. Each failure moulds the baby into a better person, each success a closer step to greater success. Perhaps that's how scientists find their fulfillment in their career.
