i can't stand this song. somehow it likes to play on the radio, even on my laptop, when i'm emo-ing. (dun tell u which song)
i've been thinking....
why is it that when u're upset, or hurt, or sad, your heart hurts like mad? it's like there's a pair of invisible hands wringing it, and u can feel the sourness and bitterness of it all.
and why is it when u're happy, the heart seems like it's gonna fly to the sky?
when u're angry, it will beat like mad in ur chest, and u feel like u gonna burst, guts and all.
this thoughts are the effects of reading too much of bio textbook (i've been reading the respiratory and circulatory systems) the heart is so amazing. in the lab at NTU, i saw it beating, literally beating before my eyes. i've never seen a heart beating before. hear it, i have. but see it, never. until, (with the sacrifice of a rat), i saw the heart beat in rhythmic pulse, with such perfect synchrony. it's awesome. beautiful. imagine that little thing the size of ur fist, nestled within ur chest, beating, keeping u alive. ahh i should take a picture when Grace does her cardiovascular experiment. it's beautiful =)
the worst thing for my research attachment is to hear the shrieks of the rat when it is about to be put into the CO2 chamber, or when it is about to be injected with aneasthetic. heartbreaking. help me become a vegetarian....
