finally bought my tickets to home. going away for about 15 days. will be spending christmas and new year's at home. how long has it been since i last spent christmas in surabaya? can't wait to return and spend some quality family time. read finish all of the manga in my brother's room. take care of my grandparents, go shopping with my parents, play with my cousins. visit my nieces and nephews. watch DVDs till late at night. eat ice-cream, eat in vegetarian restaurants. help out in the shop. do my homework. haha. eat eat and eat. eat till i become a pig =D haha. i'm starting to come up with a menu list to eat when i get back. muahaha. endless! longer than any christmas wishlist.
this is random. but i kinda think it's way too early to start christmas sales. in singapore, every major festival starts to be celebrated one month prior to the day itself. and ironically, it's the shopping malls which start it all. haha. oh and tv commercials, and mickey's clubhouse on kids central. of course, it's all in the name of commercialism and market sales and ECONOMY. stupid money.
ahh the worst thing about christmas is hearing the same old christmas carols over and over and over again on the radio. it's as bad as hearing national day theme song on the radio, on the tv and everywhere else endlessly. but otherwise, it's fine =) haha.
gonna go to school now for ISL dance practice. choreographing 2 full-length dances. exhausting. haha. but really happy coz there's freedom in dancing. and of course, all of my frens are really supportive and enthusiastic! yesterday we had quite a good dance practice, and i'm so proud of everyone! have some things to smoothen out, but basically i think it's okay.
going off this saturday, and i'm looking forward =) want to see a bit more of the world while i'm still breathing and beating. my sis tells me not to step on non-concrete ground lest i get blown up by a hidden mine left from the war. but hey, i think the city will be fine. it's just the outskirts that are not so safe. i just hope there's no typhoon this year. thank goodness my family doesn't know of the typhoon last year. hehe.
ahh i'm so high! just so glad that i'm going back this year. and though i wish i'll never have to return here, i'm sure the coming year will be over before i know it. after A-levels, i'll go home for an infinitely long time! =D go home and make up for lost time
