went to get Mrs Ng's baby presents today with Ly. went to the Baby Fair at Takashimaya. gosh. it was so WEIRD to be the only non-parents standing in the queue, holding baby stuff in our hands. haha. anyway, most of the stuff there come in baby pink and baby blue. and my dear darling Ly who is so obsessed with pink, was obsessed with a Strawberry Shortcake pink glitter mug! the stuff there are really nice though, and even the baby blankets are super soft! it's so nice being a baby! haha.
after which, i went for a dance concert by my ballet school. wasn't part of the performance coz i registered late. oh wells. but surely and surely, the performance was magnificent! this year's theme is about The Tales. the children ballet students looked amazing in the splendour of those vivid costumes! especially love the costumes of Sebastian the Crab in The Little Mermaid item. it's a red and white tutu, and the children have this cute red colour headband! super super cute. and there were lots and lots of fairy tales like Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Little Red Riding Hood, etc. etc. and Mr Ferrer and Ticha danced Puss in Boots. oh my goodness. they were so cool! technique and all~ *admires* and then there was this really really young boy. probably about 10 or something. he dances jazz like a pro!!!! i'm so so so happy when i was watching this young jazz talent. can't wait for him to grow up and develop his jazz. it was so cool. he can turn like 4 times at one go, with the correct technique too! all his movements are so developed. and no matter how many pretty girls he was surrounded with, i bet all of the audience's focus was on him! haha.
the choreography of the dances this year were very nice too. i was totally enchanted by the performances, and i felt like i was really absorbed into this imaginative realm of fairy tales! i could hardly sit still! haha. felt like standing up and dancing with all of the kids. somehow their innocence is so captivating. although they make lots and lots of mistakes, they don't have a fear of making them, in front of 1000 people! haha. and ultimately, they enjoy themselves on stage and looked astoundingly beautiful!
