the jasmine flower. how can such a sweet sweet smell come from a flower so small, so simple and ordinary-looking? everytime i the scent of jasmine drifts into my nose, i can't help but look around for signs of the flower. and there it will be, lying amongst the green leaves, its dainty white petals spreading out as wide as possible. and i would know that the strong, captivating scent that i breathed into my lungs came from that tiny flower, maybe just a little bigger than the nail of my thumb.
had a little surprise b'day outing for Ly today. it was great =D the main point: Ly cried coz she was so so touched! =)) awww... i must tell the whole world! hahaha. we had a great time together! catching up and talking and all of that =) there were Ly, Xiaochen, Kim, Yilin, Andrew, Ernest and I. haha. and Ly looked soooo feminine in the skirt and dangling earrings that were part of her BIG b'day gift. haha. yeah, she's a woman now! hahaha. pretty pretty Ly =DD
