valentine's day! the day when (almost) everyone is excited and high. with all the chocolates and all the flowers!! both of which i love =)) and i can see that all the gift shops and supermarkets have their cash registers ringing like crazy. the queue at NTUC was soooo long i can't be bothered to queue to buy my measly 3 items (which pales in comparison to people who had overflowing trolleys)
anyway, thanks for ALL the gifts! =) chocs chocs and more chocs!! whee!~ even got a whole box of Merci from Youxin =D i can save money from buying chocolate for like 2 months. plus ALL of the meaningful gifts that i've received! haha. it's not a matter of how many gifts u receive, but a matter of the sincerity and the thought from the giver. the thing called friendships. somehow i feel that friendship is the most transient of all relationships. it's so capricious, u don't know what will happen in a friendship.
i've learned one important thing, and this lesson i do share with a special girlfriend out there. the thing is, you don't have to stick to each other all the time to feel the bond of friendship. you might not even talk to each other much, you might not see each other a lot, but somehow, you will always know that the friendship, the special bond, is still there. i wonder if we can give ourselves another chance, to renew that friendship. ><
been hearing a constant stream of love dedications on the radio. can get quite sappy and mushy on the ears (esp if ur date is the homework on ur table, like me). for the past week, i've been hearing love poems and listeners' composed love songs on Class 95 love songs. it's all those, "you're my one and only" stuff. so i hear people declaring their undying love. and for the FIRST time, i actually get sick of listening to those stuff and the ballads they play. i guess it's true that when you say things over and over again, the meaning behind the words do fade... so i must not say 'i love you' too many times to Ly and Xiaochen and Kim and everyone else. hahaha.

i hope things will get better. i've had enough bad luck to last me a lifetime. please please please, let things get better. LMCB.
