juz some analogies in mind........
imagine that u're a tree, the strongest, tallest tree in the forest, with a beautiful crown of lush, green leaves. u're the king/queen of the trees and many other trees envy you.
but one day, a bolt of lightning comes striking down from the sky. it happens that it strikes u.
ur strong trunk prevent u from falling. but anth lightning strikes, and anth and anth. surprisingly, the lightnings chose u (out of all those weaker, younger, less beautiful trees) finally, ur strong trunk can't take the lightning strikes, and it gives way. it falls metres down and crashes onto the forest floor. ur crown is destroyed as it comes crashing down. ur trunk, the strongest and tallest in the whole forest is now only another stub of another dead tree.
and there goes the years of growing into the best tree.

u have built the best city in the universe. ur city is the most developed city, with very low crime rates, 3% unemployment, most advanced in technology, most dedicated labour force, most educated population. anyway, ur city is juz the best. and one day, this huge rain comes pouring down from the skies. gallons of water fall from the clouds above, so much that it can turn the sahara back into a sea. the flood washes away all the houses which are supposed to be strong enough to withstand any disasters. the flood killed everyone in the city, and every single thing is destroyed. all those years of building the best city in the world, is gone becoz of that flood......

i hope u are smart enough to get my point..........................
but in case u dun get it, i juz want to say that the best things and the strongest persons can be destroyed, by multiple obstacles, by difficulties of the greatest magnitude. we're all not indestructible.........
and i was thinking abt what life has just given us. look at what life has given us (or rather, me.) the second i was born, i did not laugh, neither did i smile. i cried. i cried the hardest i could. i almost cried my lungs out... for being born. then i'm taught how to walk, how to talk. becoz i learnt how to walk, i learnt how to run away, run away from problems and not face them. becoz i learnt how to talk, i learnt to say hurtful words to others. then i was taught to differentiate the green apple from the red apple, the red apple from the green apple. becoz of that, i judged apples, i learnt to prefer the red apple to the green apple. so, i judged ppl. i learnt to resent people, i didn't learn to love everyone for who they are. and the world is suddenly divided into black and white, like red apples and green apples. 'avoid the black, go towards the white', they say. but have they ever said, 'go to the black, turn them white'? hardly.
maybe life isn't this bad, maybe it's juz me.
and i was thinking abt how stupid it is to be civilized. i noe the connotation is supposedly good. but is it really good? i tell u wad a human needs. a human needs only light, oxygen, water and food. no more. but now, a human needs lamps of different, attractive designs. a human needs air conditioning. a human needs flavoured drinks. a human needs shark fin soup, wild game, fast food, junk food and dunno wad. is civilization really that good? becoz we're civilized, we have to receive the worst type of education u can ever have, a type of education that leaves u with more stress and unhappiness. becoz we're civilized, we are forced to work from 9 to 5 every single day. becoz we're civilized, we have to pay for everything we use. even air, food, water, light, shelter. these used to be free for all to use. free for all living things. until civilization came along. and becoz of civilization and technological advancements, we are able to live longer. the longer we live, the longer we suffer.
i want to be a butterfly.an ugly caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly, who then flutters around to help pollinate flowers. they help pollinate the plants from which leaves they fed upon while they were caterpillars. they feed upon the sweetest nectar, then reproduces. after which, the butterfly dies. life is so simple. a butterfly only lives for a few days. no worries abt anything.
sometimes i wish a car will exert a huge resultant force on me when i cross the road outside my house.
