I live in a world of lies,
Why do you have to make me cry?
I can never get used to the fact that
It's you who's making me sad.
Day after day I pray
To be able to see you.
Do you have a clue
Of what's going on in my heart?
Why can't you just depart
From my life
And leave me to strive alone.
I don't need you anymore,
Because all you give me is sorrow
And nothing more.
But thank you,
For because of you,
I've learnt to appreciate others
And made many brothers.
I've gotten used to life without you,
So please don't return to ruin my life.
Stop lying to me.
Stop making empty promises.
Leave me alone!
