today got western dance and chinese dance auditions.
shucks. havta choose over the two.
chose chinese dance.
western dance havta go en pointe for SYF. cannot lar.
aniwae, li jing and an chi are in chinese dance.
watched them do jumps, kicks, turns.
darn pro lor.
the seniors, esp the guys, they practically fly for the jumps lor.
their suspension is superb man.
admire admire. lol.
they also have a special aura which reminds me a bit of modern dance.
the western dance ppl at the other side of the hall cannot break thru that aura with their loud pop music. or was it me that was too immersed in their dance. but it's not so 'gu niang' like nanyang's chinese dance. contemporary, a bit of ms chan's type of modern dance.
their SYF item is powerful and strong. got this nicey rhythmic beat. of coz it's also part of the noise they make during landing. lol. but the guys displayed their jumps and stunts, the gals are more of a background thing. wah liao. sexist, 'coz the tchrs are guys lor. dunno y the gals so pro dun let them do stunts. argh fine, ancient cheena gals muz be demure. lol.
aniwae, the audition is juz basic floorwork. splits and all. and being from modern dance, things went well. thank u miss chan. ^_^ and the instructor said that the 5 of us have great potential of over 50% and we are in for SYF. Reserves....
but we'll still have the cca points aniwae. hehe.
and it's good experience.
there's badminton audition tmrw.
